Privacy
of individuals within The Commonwealth of Australia is protected by enacted
legislation known as the Privacy Act 1998 (The Privacy Act) and its provisions
address a number of aspects of how information provided by them can be used and
how electronic communications with them can be made.
HELP
Recruitment complies with all aspects of the Privacy Act regarding
confidentiality in the use of personal information gathered in the process of
assisting applicants to gain employment.
As
part of the registration process, participants will be required provide an
active e-mail address to which communications acknowledging their registration
or the progress of applications made by them for specific positions will be
sent. If participants do not want electronic communications to be sent to the
address provided they should contact the HELP Recruitment office concerned and
request that the e-mail address be removed or substituted with an alternative.
Electronic
communications may be sent to participants advising them of alternative
prospects of employment unless requested not to do so. All electronic
communications sent to e-mail addresses provided by participants will contain an
unsubscribe facility should they no longer be required. Alternatively if a
participant elects to have job alerts sent via the HELP Job Agent, this can
disabled at any time by the participant if they no longer wish to receive them.

assignment basis, no information about your name, address, e-mail address,
contact telephone numbers etc will be released to any outside party without
your specific consent.

providing HELP with details of your personal work history you will be including
information regarding previous employers, academic achievements, personal skill
and abilities and details pertaining to nominated referees. By contacting HELP
in relation to employment opportunities we will initially acknowledge receipt of
your information to one of the addresses supplied by you and you must be aware
that we cannot accept any responsibility for the interception of any
communication provided in good faith. We
may use your contact details to advise you of other employment opportunities
that will arise from time to time and by providing it, you are giving HELP your
explicit approval for this to be done, if you prefer that we do not advise you
of future opportunities please e-mail us and we will remove your details from
our database.

Information
Some
of our web pages utilise "cookies" and other tracking technologies. A

Disposal
of Retained Information

your request, any and all information held about you at HELP will be completely
destroyed. In cases where information is held electronically, it will be deleted
and in cases where hard copy information is retained it will be disposed of by
either secure shredding or a secure document disposal service provided by an
authorised document security contractor.

HELP is required by law to disclose any information held in our business files,
it will comply with any legal or compliance obligations that are imposed upon
